Astronomy: Observing the Night Sky
The night sky and its stars have always fascinated mankind. Participants will
enjoy looking up into the night sky to identify major constellations, individual
stars, planets, and other sky objects. This class can be divided into two
separate classes. The first is the night class that explores the heavens above
and God's glory evident in them. The second class, typically a day class,
explores our solar system and the planets.

Challenge Course
Challenge course initiatives and elements are activities designed to present
groups with challenging problems they must overcome by working together
using problem solving and trust while exercising leadership and 'followership'.
Applications are made to practical Christian living and relationships, as well
    as other 'real world' situations.

Hikes
Creation Adventure Hike - This hike introduces students to God's creation as
established in our Florida upland setting. Students will traverse Lake Swan
Outdoor School's 69 acres, hiking through a variety of habitats, searching for
resident animals, playing interactive nature concept games, exploring creation
through exciting sensory awareness and search and collect activities, and
becoming united as outdoor learners through safe group outdoor experiences.
Some specific concepts and vocabulary will be developed as well as outdoor
    learning skills.
